AMONG THE CHURCHES
On the sixth day of October, 1909, First Church of Christ, Scientist, of Omaha, Neb., laid the corner-stone of its new church edifice now being constructed at 24th street and St. Mary's avenue. The ceremony was in conformity with the Manual of The Mother Church, the only persons present being the elective officers of the church and the resident charter members. The church, when completed, will have a seating capacity of twelve hundred.
