I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. Eight years ago I was hurried off to Colorado, as I was suffering from serious lung trouble. After many months of medical treatment, which was of no avail, I turned in my extremity (which proved to be God's opportunity) to Christian Science. I sought a practitioner, threw away all material remedies, and was healed of the lung trouble; but the demonstration did not end there. After this healing I returned to Pittsburg, and my former physician and friends felt very fearful for me, but I am thankful to God and to Christian Science that there has been no return of the old trouble, although error has since presented itself in many different forms, only to be destroyed by Truth.

One ailment which I will especially mention was chronic stomach trouble, of which I was also permanently healed. The greatest of all is, however, the mental and spiritual uplift gained by studying the Christian Science text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. I feel truly thankful for this wonderful truth.
