I am moved by deep gratitude to God to add my testimony to the thousands that have already been given in our periodicals. When my little son was five days old he was taken with an attack of convulsions, which lasted about a half hour. Our family physician was in doubt as to what had brought on the trouble, but the child did not have any more till he was four months old, and then he had another very severe spell, after which he remained rigid for seven hours. The physician then began to experiment with different kinds of food, but the baby seemed to grow steadily worse and the attacks came more and more frequently. Finally we seemed to strike the right food, and we thought surely he was cured, but alas, the attacks returned and one night he had fourteen convulsions. I thought surely he could not outlive the night, but in the morning he was better. That night's experience, however, proved to me how utterly powerless the physicians were even to relieve his awful suffering.

Soon after this I heard of some wonderful cures through Christian Science, and determined to try it for my baby. One night when he was taken with a terrible attack, I called up a practitioner and he was quickly relieved. He was entirely healed of this awful trouble in that one night, and has never had a return of it. It is now over two years since he was healed, and he is a perfectly healthy, bright child. My gratitude is so great that my heart is full to overflowing, and I cannot find words to express myself I feel as though I could not do enough, or be good enough, to show my great love for God, who healed my little child. I myself have been cured of a severe form rheumatism, also of a heart trouble which physicians had pronounced incurable. Surely Mrs. Eddy has brought back to the world the true life which Jesus taught, and I feel that too much love or respect can never be shown her for the great boon which she has brought to all who will accept it.
