Billings (Mont.) Journal

Christianity is and should be the outcome of the life of Christ Jesus. He taught the only essentials necessary to man's salvation. They are the oneness and omnipotence of God, Spirit, and the unity of man with his Maker. Christian Science teaches these points, and proves them by demonstration. God, understood and reflected in daily life and demonstration, would be manifested in the destruction of evil and the healing of the sick. When Jesus taught these points he was strongly opposed by the religious teachings of his time.

Christian Science teaches the divinity of Christ, the sacredness of the inspired word of the Bible, and that we should love our neighbor as ourselves.
