The apostle Paul wrote to the Galatians, "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth. that shall he also reap." This verse had often come to me in my life, but it did not mean much until about three years ago, when I had to turn to Christian Science for help. This I did just to please some of my friends, whom I afterward found to be friends in every sense of the word, for they knew the Love that would not let me go my way. Like some others, I wanted to condemn Christian Science without a fair trial. It was only after I had suffered for years, and had been to the best physicians without any permanent relief, that I gave up and asked for help through this truth. With two treatments I was healed of stomach and bowel trouble of years' standing. It was then that for the first time in my life I knew I was near the God who heals. With that evidence I went to work to read Science and Health, knowing that I would be healed of a dreaded rheumatic trouble, although, with help at times from a practitioner, I was eighteen months in overcoming that trouble. But this slow healing brought with it an understanding for which I have not sufficient command of language fittingly to express my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy. Through these months of study I learned that God is an ever-present help; that His work is and ever has been done, and that I was the one who had to get right and to know man's real relation to Him.

These are a few of the many blessings which have come to my family and myself. We are trying each day to live such lives as will prove our gratitude to God for these blessings, and our appreciation of our much loved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for showing us the way to the God who is Life, Truth, and Love.—
