In my case there have been many proofs of the power of Christian Science over what might be called lesser ills, but which still prove the power of Principle understood. One experience, of several years ago, was the healing of a very bad bite from a dog. As a good deal of fear was manifested, I thought it best to have the aid of a Christian Science practitioner. Treatment was given, and the following day I was able to use the hand with but slight inconvenience, as the pain was almost immediately destroyed. In four days the hand was perfectly healed. Under materia medica this would have been considered quite a serious case, and the treatment itself would have caused considerable suffering.

Christian Science proved a great help to me in my course in dentistry. It was especially helpful in destroying the fear of examinations, thereby enabling me to write a much better paper than I could otherwise have done. To know God as all-intelligence means much, and enables us to accomplish what we could not without this truth. In my dental practice I have seen some very beautiful demonstrations over fear, and in many cases have been able to do work, usually considered very painful, in such a manner as to cause little or no suffering.

For these, and for the many other blessings which I have received, I wish to express my deep gratitude to God, also to Mrs. Eddy, for the help which Christian Science has been to me.
