I wish to express my sincere gratitude for all the blessings that have come to me through Christian Science. For forty-two years I suffered from varicose veins, and at times could not walk, although I wore an elastic stocking for years. I also had an eruption for twenty-two years, for which I used all kinds of lotions and medicines, but with no relief. The disease spread and got worse: then, while I was in great trouble and grief, a bad case of kidney disease set in. I was treated by a specialist, but only grew worse, till finally the doctor told my husband that he could do no more for me, and I could not live. It was then, through the advice of an old friend who was a Christian Scientist, that I decided to try Christian Science as a last resort and to satisfy my husband. I had no faith in it, but I consented to see a practitioner and began treatment. The kidney disease yielded in a few weeks, and the eruption and varicose veins also disappeared.

I now am able to do my own work, and am in good health after suffering so many years. I am very grateful for the healing I have received. Christian Science has helped me mentally as well as physically, and I am thankful to God, and to our dear Leader, for all these blessings.
