With an overflowing sense of love and gratitude to God, and to our dear Leader, I send my testimony, trusting that it will be the means of bringing to many such health and happiness as I have experienced. From infancy until I was twenty-eight years of age, at which time Christian Science was brought to my notice, I had never been free from suffering. Chronic stomach trouble, and the fact of my having been treated by different physicians with no permanent relief, caused despondency in an extreme degree. Unnumbered drugs had entirely failed to relieve me at any time of severe attacks of suffering, but two treatments in Christian Science, with four weeks' earnest study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," effected a complete cure of this long-standing disease. Not only was I healed physically, as herein explained, but at the same time I gained a spiritual uplifting which was most glorious. Christian Science has proved to be an ever-present help in my home and daily life. My constant desire is to live so that I may reflect the saving truth which has been revealed to me. Words fail to express my thankfulness to Mrs. Eddy for the understanding which has lifted me from a dense darkness of belief and misery and to know that God, divine Mind, governs all.—J.
