Several months ago our child became dangerously ill with bowel trouble. We did not call in a physician, nor were our nearest relations allowed to hear of our darling's condition, for we knew that the case would be more easily overcome in Science if no thoughts of the reality of sickness surrounded the child. We applied at once for Christian Science treatment, and the same evening, after the Scientist's visit, there was perceptible improvement. There was no more fever, the pain diminished, and the next morning, as if by a miracle, the child was freed from all distress, whereas on the previous day she had cried out with pain at the least touch. The following morning she could sit up in bed without assistance, though still weak, and in a few days all traces of illness had disappeared. This testimony is an offering of praise to God, in profound gratitude for the many blessings which Christian Science has brought into my life. I also desire to express fervent thanks to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, through whom the Christ-healing has again been revealed to us in its original purity.
