LETTERS TO OUR LEADER
Richmond, Va., Oct. 4, 1908.
Dear Mrs. Eddy:— Many times I have wished to write and tell you of the great joy that has come into my life through Christian Science. I had never been strong or well, and was steadily growing morbid, and farther from God, but the inspiring truth in your book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," has taught me to understand and to love God; and through many demonstrations made for me of the healing power of divine Mind, I am to-day a happy, normal person, and steadily growing stronger.
Christian Science has also brought great peace and happiness to my grandmother, who is in her ninetieth year. She loves to hear Science and Health read in connection with the Bible, and says she wishes all the world could hear the Lord's Prayer with its spiritual interpretation as given in this book. Last December she enjoyed so much the article on Christmas which you wrote for the Ladies' Home Journal. She said it was a wonderful revelation to her and most uplifting and beautiful. My heart overflows to-day with love and gratitude to you, for all the words to life you have given the world.
