About two years ago my baby boy was born. After a few days the doctor noticed an abnormal condition of his head, and upon examination she decided that an operation would be necessary. My husband and I talked it over, and we decided not to have an operation, as we were afraid of it; and this being our only boy, we were very much distressed about the condition. Before I was married I had lived where I had heard and known about Christian Science, and I told my husband about what I had seen done by it. We then decided to send for a Christian Science practitioner. By this time the child was a week old and the lump on his head had enlarged considerably, the top of the head was flattened, and one eye was drawn back so that it appeared much smaller than the other and was closed almost all the time. The practitioner took the case in hand, and improvement appeared almost at once, the lump becoming smaller, until after three weeks' treatment it had almost disappeared. The eye was entirely cured, becoming as large as the other one, and all soreness gone. The practitioner then said there was no longer need of treatment. The small lump remaining has disappeared and baby is as bright and intelligent as any child can be. I am glad to give this testimony to what Christian Science has done for my child.—Mrs. V. P.
