The time has come when I feel that I should tell what Christian Science has done for me. I was afflicted with several ailments, my eyes being very bad, also my hearing, so that I was almost deaf. I tried different physicians for my eyes, but found no relief. I then tried to find glasses that I could see to read with, but could find none. I had used tobacco for thirty-five or forty years. This was the condition in which Christian Science found me. After the first treatment I threw the tobacco away, and have had no desire for it since. I was also able to sleep, which was something I had been able to do for two years, not having had a good night's rest in that time. After five treatments I found I could see to read without glasses, and I now read in my Bible and Science and Health. I feel that I have been greatly benefited by Christian Science in every way, and am very thankful to God, and to Mrs. Eddy for showing me the way.
