This is a good hour for Christians in general to manifest a Christlike spirit toward Christian Scientists. We should remember that passing through sore trials is no proof of the divine disapproval. These people have been prospered more proportionately than any other religious denomination of our generation. I have known of a great many husbands and wives and sons and daughters made happier and better by accepting the teachings of Christian Science, and I have found many of them, I could almost say all of them, singularly sweet-tempered in the face of stinging criticism and what nearly amounted to persecution. I hope the rest of us may always prove as patient and as forgiving toward our enemies.
