SUCCESS MAGAZINE
Success Magazine announces that it has in preparation two articles on Christian Science, the first of which will appear in either the April or May issue. We are informed that they will be truthful and authentic presentations of the subject, and we commend them to our readers. We quote as follows from the editorial announcement:—
An organization which has, practically within a quarter of a century, established some six hundred churches, some of which have cost over a million dollars each; an organization which numbers hundreds of thousands of intelligent adherents, and which has gained a firm footing among the best classes of people in America, in England and several other foreign countries, must be of great interest to every intelligent American, regardless of his own religious faith. No other religious organization within the life of its founder has ever made such a remarkable advance among the English-speaking people of the entire world as has the Christian Science Church. The entire absence of ceremonial or liturgical forms of worship in the Science faith, the simplicity of its teachings, which are based on Truth and Love, have given it a peculiar hold upon multitudes of people who had never before affiliated with any of the existing forms of worship. It is the religion of optimism, of cheerfulness, of hopefulness, of brotherly love. Its essence is in the Golden Rule and the Sermon on the Mount.
