[The following testimony comes to us in the form of an affidavit made by the step-father of the patient, and verified by the oaths of five other persons whom we are told are among the best known citizens of Houston. The fact that other testimonies are not verified in this way does not detract from their value.—Editor.] State of Texas, County of Harris.

Charles Winkler, being duly sworn, states on oath that on or about the year 1902, his step-son, Charles Winkler, aged eight years, was totally blind, and was pronounced so by physicians of Houston, Tex., who had treated him unsuccessfully, and who stated that his case was such as entitled him to admission to the Blind Asylum in Austin, Tex.

His mother was advised to take him to a Christian Science practitioner, Mrs. Lulu H. Bond of Houston, Tex., which she did, stating that they had no money to pay for Christian Science treatment. The case was accepted, the boy given daily treatment, and perfectly healed, and to-day is able to see better than ever before.
