About twelve years ago I was given up to die, the doctors...
About twelve years ago I was given up to die, the doctors saying it was impossible for me to live. On their advice I went to a hospital in Montreal, but all they could offer me there was two operations, with a slight chance of saving my life. As I dreaded the thought of an operation, I decided to die at home. I then heard of Christian Science, which I tried as a last resort, and after being under its treatment for two weeks I was able to do all my own work without any help, something which I had not done before for two years, and in less than three months I was completely cured of all my diseases. I did not take treatment continually during that time, as after the first two weeks I had help only occasionally, sometimes going for two weeks without treatment. This was over ten years ago, and I have had good health ever since, and have not taken medicine of any kind. We had lost two children under medical treatment, but now have four children, all well and healthy, who have never taken any medicine. We had paid out a small fortune for medical treatment, and the amount paid for help in Christian Science has been very small in comparison. I have great reason to be thankful for Christian Science, and I know it is of God, for it is good.
