I desire to express my gratitude for the many blessings...
I desire to express my gratitude for the many blessings I have received through Christian Science, which was brought to me by a very dear friend while I lay suffering from a severe attack of abdominal trouble, the second inside of three months. I had also undergone the same ex perience on two former occasions, once about ten years ago and again five years later. Two physicians had told me that recovery was impossible without an operation, to which I could not become reconciled. I was very much discouraged, as I was never well and medicine did me no good. Then my friend advised my trying Christian Science, and said she would go with me to a practitioner who lived near by. It seemed impossible that I could even dress, much less go anywhere, in the condition I was in, but with my friend's help and encouragement I succeeded in getting to the house. After the first treatment I felt better, and at the end of twelve days I was healed and felt better and happier than I had been for many years. I am truly grateful for the physical healing, but much more so for the spiritual uplifting which this blessed truth has given me. I have been in Science only a short time, but I have a greater wish than ever before to become a true Christian, and to be able to help others as some of the dear Scientists have helped me.—Mrs. Stella Wyatt, Los Angeles, Cal.
