In the News Forum yesterday our readers were afforded an opportunity to read an extended communication from Dr. W. C. Goodno, asking for proofs of successful treatment of disease by means of Christian Science. Proofs of the kind asked for may be readily had if really desired in the furtherance of truth and justice. A case was tried and is of record in the courts of Los Angeles, wherein testimony of the very kind asked for was given under oath in open court, including that of many prominent people of highest character and in various walks of life. Printed copies of this testimony are, we understand, always available.

The News believes in fair play for every agency proven to be remedial in relieving physical, mental, or moral suffering and distress. Among these agencies every one concedes the high purpose of the conscientious physician of whatever school. The remedial agency referred to in our editorial has also earned a respectful consideration by its successful treatment of the full range of diseases.
