Christian Science is credited with wonderful results in the treatment of disease. It is not a faith embraced by fanatics or ignorant persons. It is the solace and reliance of some of the strongest and most reasonable minds in the country. We have never heard of a person being arraigned on the charge of manslaughter because he vainly looked to a doctor of medicine to save human life and neglected to engage the services of a Christian Science healer.

As a matter of fact the practice of medicine is yet in the experimental stage, and faith is largely the foundation upon which the relatives and friends rest their hope when a physician is called upon to administer alleged curative medicines. And faith is largely the foundation upon which the physician rests his hope when he undertakes to bring the sick back to health by giving them medicine.
