I have enjoyed the peace and happiness of Christian Science for four years, and during that time have received many blessings. I have also had many beautiful demonstrations, both spiritual and physical. I became interested in Christian Science through a friend who had taken up its study, and she invited me to attend with her a Wednesday evening meeting in the Christian Science church. I knew very little of Christian Science at the time, but I shall never regret that I went to the meeting. I have learned since that time that the physical healing is not the only blessing in Christian Science, but that the greater blessing is the spiritual understanding which I have received, together with many convincing demonstrations that Science and Health teaches the true Christ-method of healing, for which I gladly give my sincere thanks to God, and to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy. I remember with heartfelt gratitude how lovingly I was welcomed in the church where I first heard those wonderful and most impressive words,—that God is Life, Truth, and Love,—the words that gave me the right idea of Christian Science and laid for me a foundation in the truth. I can truly say that Christian Science is the only religion in which I could gain an understanding of Christ's teachings. I am also most thankful for our helpful periodicals. To me each and every copy is stamped with the seal of divine Love. I trust that I may go on and be a staunch and loyal worker in the truth.—Minna H. Bader, Detroit, Mich.
