For more than a year I was under the care of physicians all the time, six of the most prominent in the city being employed during this experience. I received only temporary relief, no two of them agreeing in their diagnosis of my case. I then had an acute attack, and the attending physician advised an operation; but having attended a Christian Science testimonial meeting the previous September, I decided to call upon a Christian Science practitioner for treatment. This was in March, 1905. After the first treatment there was a marked improvement, and in two weeks a complete recovery. During the year or more that I was under medical treatment my expense for doctors, medicines, and nurses amounted to between twelve and fifteen hundred dollars. For Christian Science treatment I paid ten dollars. I am at the present time in perfect health.—Mrs. Susie A. Joyner, Nashville, Tenn.
