Before coming into Christian Science I suffered severely with stomach trouble for four years. I took every kind of medicine which I thought would help me, and while each one seemed to relieve me for a while it would soon lose its effect. I seemed worse than ever, could eat little or nothing, and was always in distress,—did not know what comfort was. Two weeks before I heard of Christian Science I felt I was slowly descending to the grave. A very serious bowel trouble had set in and I experienced a feeling of terror. But just then, when I thought there was no help, a friend told me of his healing in Christian Science and advised me to see a practitioner; which I did, and took treatment. The practitioner told me to go home and eat whatever was set before me. I did so, and it did not hurt me. By degrees every ailment left me, and I was and am now in splendid health. I understand that God's power healed me.
