When I became interested in Christian Science, about three years ago, I was eighteen years old and I thought I was as happy as any mortal could be; but through the truth as revealed in our text-book, Science and Health, I have learned what real happiness is. I know now that it is to be found only in Spirit and not in materiality, and is therefore eternal and indestructible, not transient or dependent on material conditions. Although I did not seek Christian Science for physical healing, it has proved a preventive of sickness, as I have been kept in perfect health during the past three years, whereas I would formerly have two or three attacks of sickness during the year. It has been proved to my entire satisfaction that there is a loving Father, God who is the ever-present help for our every need, and I am very grateful to our dear Leader, who has made it possible for me to know this and whose loving sacrifice is doing so much for humanity. I am thankful every day that I know about Christian Science and that it is my privilege to help others to learn of this great truth.
