It is with gratitude that I give my testimony
It is with gratitude that I give my testimony. For many years I suffered from various ills, and underwent four operations for internal trouble. I spent much money for medical treatment, both in England and America, but without permanent help. When the doctors said they had done all they could for me, then a Christian Science practitioner came to me, and as a drowning man catches at a straw, I clung to Science, and was healed. I had been a physical and mental wreck, and had no hope of ever being better. I had in all four weeks' treatment, and after the first one I left off my glasses, which I had been using for a defect of the eyes. The doctor said I could not possibly do without them; but that was nine years ago, and thanks to God, I have never needed them since, nor have I resorted to any kind of medicine. I am indeed grateful to God, and to dear Mrs. Eddy, through whom this healing truth has again been revealed to mankind.
Mrs. Emma Thompson, Leeds, Yorkshire, England.
