Christian Science maintains that violation of God's law...
The Moulton (Ore.) Eagle
Christian Science maintains that violation of God's law alone should bring suffering, and the study and application of this teaching is enabling the Christian Scientist to distinguish between that which human theory and tradition call law and the unchanging law of a just and loving God, thus making him willingly obedient to this law and its demands. Each student of Christian Science is proving true, in some small measure at least, that "the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death." Christian Scientists are not such by reason of a theoretical adoption of an unprovable premise, but have confidence in their accepted faith because of the demonstrated good which has come into their lives through its application; and it is believed that the lives of numbered men, women, and children throughout this land made happy, are ample evidence that the position of the Christian Scientist in contending for the supremacy of good and the unreality of evil has not been taken in vain.
