It is over seven years since Christian Science first came into my life. At that time I was without God and without hope. Not having received a religious training, it never occurred to me to resort to prayer for the cure of any kind of trouble, but I wish to state that I have been healed of many physical ailments through Christian Science prayer alone, which we all learn in due time is the prayer of understanding. Not only have I been healed of bodily troubles, but I have received a great moral uplift through the study of our wondrous text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. Christian Science has taught me to read and love the Bible, although I had, until seven years ago, absolutely no interest in it. My son met with a severe injury to his arm while coasting. He was a pupil in a Christian Science Sunday School, and we both declared the truth, so that fear was overcome at once. The arm was set by a doctor, who said that he would have trouble with it, but the healing was a beautiful and painless demonstration of Truth's power. In a short time he was able to use the injured arm as well as the other.

I am profoundly grateful that Christian Science has come into my life, for now I am no longer without God, hope, or faith. I wish to express my love and sincere thanks to God, and to our dear Leader.
