For twelve years I had been most miserable with a complication of diseases. A physician treated me a long time, but I grew steadily worse. When I came to Pittsburg I had three doctors, one after another, then a specialist. They all agreed that it was an abnormal growth which caused me so much trouble. I underwent surgical treatment seven times, and finally the specialist said he had done all he could, but advised me to go to a hospital and have the growth removed. About this time I heard of Christian Science, and decided to try it before submitting to an operation. Under Christian Science treatment I began improving at once, and was entirely healed in six weeks. Later, I applied for treatment for chronic frosted feet, from which I had suffered terribly from childhood. The trouble would begin each year at the first appearance of frost, and would remain until warm weather. I could seldom wear shoes, and stood on my feet with great difficulty. In one week's treatment this condition was entirely healed, and I have had no trouble from it since, now three years. I had spent a great deal for ineffectual medical treatment, while I have paid only a small amount for the help received in Christian Science, and am well.

My husband's healing from catarrhal trouble seems very wonderful to me. He had used large quantities of material remedies, without being healed. He is a locomotive engineer, and after my healing he began to study Science and Health and improved very much during the year. Finally he went to the same practitioner who had treated me, and in three weeks was perfectly healed. He thinks the most wonderful part of his healing is that he has never been tempted to use any profanity or tobacco since he first became interested in Christian Science. We are both very grateful to Mrs. Eddy for this revival of primitive Christianity with "signs" following.
