Some months ago, while in the United States I suddenly found myself out of work. I began to declare the truth almost immediately and realized that I should be guided by Truth. I had had a desire to go to Mexico, but knew nothing whatever of this country or people. The way. however, seemed to open for me and I came here. I also desired a position near a city, so that I could attend church each sunday, as my work prior to this had taken me out sometimes many miles from the nearest town, and I was continually shifting. I kept on declaring the truth and trying to know that if it were right for me I should have the place I so longed for. It seemed a very hard thing to demonstrate, as business was at a standstill when I arrived and there was no work here in the civil engineering line.
One day some one suggested that I open an office to do that kind of work, and also mining engineering. There seemed to be a light shining ahead as I went farther into the matter. A few days later I found some work, and I am now in partnership with two expert mining men, doing a business which nets me a liberal income each month, and it is increasing every week.
I give this hoping that it will reach some one who may be situated as I was among strangers, and I would say to him, falter not and your reward will surely come, for "we live, and move, and have our being" in God. L. H. Skeels, Chihuahua, Mex.
