I was a sufferer for several years with female weakness, heart trouble, neuralgia, and catarrh; and was treated by the leading doctors of this city without any permanent relief. This combination of troubles soon brought on that dreaded disease which has always baffled medical skill and slain its victims by thousands,—consumption,—which seemed to be hurrying me to the grave. In this condition I went to a Christian Science practitioner in this city and I was very much surprised when she said there was help for me.
Never before had I met so kind a person. I was healed of all my ailments at my first call upon her, which was in April, 1902. Since then I have studied "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and I am thankful to say that I am understanding it, and growing in the knowledge of God as taught by our Leader.
My first demonstration over fear was with my little boy, two years old. While playing in the room he fell and dislocated his wrist. I picked him up and, through the realization of God, as all power, I adjusted the bone in its proper place, realizing that "there is no fear in love."
