One Law
In Science and Health we find the statement, "Spiritual law is our only code; Life, Truth, and Love our Government" (p. 442).
How the students of Christian Science, who in times past have seemed to come under the so-called laws of mortal belief, should rejoice at the above,—one law, one Lawgiver, one supreme ruling Judge, whose judgment is always just,—One who "discerns the thoughts and intents of the heart," and who rewards accordingly. It matters not what the verdict of the world (mortal minds many) may be, we can rest secure under the guidance and government of the great, all-wise Ruler, who is revealed as "the same yesterday, to-day, and forever."
As witnesses for Truth and Love, we can bear testimony only to the things of Spirit. As we recognize and obey only the law of God, good, all false testimony will be ruled out, and God's kingdom will be revealed as supreme and omnipotent here and now. To do this we must reverse every erroneous thought, see the true instead of the false, and God's law will thus be made manifest. Sickness will give place to health, sorrow to joy, sin to perfection, hate to love, and so on through all that error claims unjustly.
