With great love and gratitude I testify to my wonderful...
With great love and gratitude I testify to my wonderful healing, through the teachings of Christian Science. About five years ago Christian Science found me a hopeless dyspeptic; and besides this I had other troubles, pronounced by physicians to be beyond human skill. My first treatment in Christian Science resulted in the instantaneous healing of the dyspepsia, which was shortly followed by the healing of organic troubles of about sixteen years' standing. One of these was a trouble of the ear which discharged and had to be washed out with antiseptics daily, only to be found in the same trying condition the next day.
When I first heard of Christian Science I really did not hope for such marvelous healing, although I was much impressed with the spirituality of the every-day lives of the Christian Scientists whom I had met. As I look back to five years ago and realize the great spiritual uplifting that has come to me through daily reading of my Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," I find that I have been shown the way out of sin that I could not overcome through my former religious teaching. I tried many times to adhere to these teachings to please my family, and when Christian Science was brought to me, I saw that it was indeed the truth that leads into all good and uplifts mankind and shows earnest seekers the way out of all human misery; therefore I could no longer hold to a false education. My earnest desire is so to live the truth which has revealed a new world to me, through our Leader, Mary Baker G. Eddy, that I may reflect Love as taught in Christian Science.
