I am a little girl nine years old and I would like to tell of a demonstration. A year ago when mamma and I were visiting some friends, my little playmate and I were riding a bicycle. We were both thrown from the wheel. My playmate was not hurt at all, but mamma thought my leg was broken and sent for a surgeon. He said the bone was not broken but that the leg was bruised and twisted, and that I would not walk for three months. We remained two weeks and I was yet unable to walk and had to be carried home. Mamma then called a Christian Science practitioner and after two treatments I felt the ankle joint go in place; it jerked so hard it frightened me, but my fear was soon gone and I told mamma my leg was all right, and I got up and stood on it for the first time in three weeks. Christian Science also helps me in school, where I declare the one intelligence.
