I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude for the help I always get from our publications. Our Lesson-Sermons are priceless to me. Long ago when a very young girl I noticed that the times when my attention was most attracted during a sermon was when the minister quoted a Bible text and tried to explain it, or brought it in incidentally so that it seemed startlingly clear, when I had before not understood it at all. Then I formed a desire in my mind that I might some day hear sermons made up entirely of Bible texts just connected with sufficient other words to explain them properly and make them applicable to everyday needs. Now my desire is granted, and the texts need not be connected with human opinions, for we have the demonstrable truths as discovered by Mrs. Eddy and revealed in Science and Health to serve that purpose. My prayer is therefore more than granted and the Scriptures are again fulfilled which says that He "is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think."
