With gratitude and thanks to my Father who is in heaven,...
With gratitude and thanks to my Father who is in heaven, and with my heart full of love for our Leader, I am ready to acknowledge the abundance of benefits received from reading Science and Health, and also the help received from kind practitioners. I have been healed of the desire for tobacco, and have also been uplifted spiritually. I have not needed help for physical ailments, but have found Truth to be the healing power at all times when needed.
My wife fell down a flight of fourteen stairs striking her foot on the steps as she fell. On recovering herself she realized that "God is Love," and that there are no accidents with God's children, and then she got up and went about her work. At bed time error seemed to be manifested by severe pains in her foot and ankle. I telephoned to a practitioner for help and the pain left her, so that she slept most of the night, but in the morning she was unable to step on her foot at all. On Monday morning she arose and walked all right, and had no further trouble. Neither foot nor ankle had any marks of bruises, nor were they swollen at any time.
I have seen measles, whooping cough, and other diseases of children vanish almost instantly when my little girl was treated. We are all very grateful to know that we have a God to whom we can go in the time of need, and that He will heal us of all our ailments if we trust in Him.
