I cannot express the gratitude I feel for what Christian Science has done for me. About ten months ago I was having trouble with my eyes; the physician who attended me said that I would lose the sight of one eye, and the other would be badly affected. While in this condition a dear relative who had been healed through Christian Science advised me to try it before I decided about having an operation, which I had been told was necessary.

Fearing I knew not what, if I submitted to the operation, I said I would take treatment, and the relative immediately wrote to a Christian Science practitioner asking her to take my case, which she did. I commenced to improve in three days' time, and in a few weeks was cured. I did not meet the practitioner until all the trouble was gone from my eyes, and during the time I was being treated many other ailments which I had, also disappeared.

My heart goes out in love to my dear friend and helper for her lovingkindness and patience toward me, not only in the physical healing, but in the sweet counsel through which I have been led to the understanding of the blessed truth.
