Beloved Teacher, Friend, and Leader:—As we daily strive to attain to the holiness and perfection of the Son of God, which has been revealed to us in Christian Science as a present possibility, our thought becomes aglow with love for you, the heart overflows and tears of gratitude bathe your feet; for our own wrestlings with the claim of the persistence of matter discovers to us somewhat of your toil and self-sacrifice, and the burden of the world you have borne these many years in order that those who sit in darkness may see the great light.

We are learning that it is by Christian Science alone that we have "power to become the sons of God," here and now; that through its gates we now enter heaven, the spiritual state of existence; and that surely by it "the kingdom of heaven is at hand" to all mankind. Like John, we often feel like kneeling at thy feet, who hast been so faithful in the delivery of His message.
