It is with the deepest gratitude to all helpers in the Christian Science work, that this demonstration is given, although no healer was asked for help in this case.

Having suffered for many years with gall-stones, which were greatly aggravated by an operation for tumor, I could get no relief for constipation and other ills attending this trouble. Mrs. Eddy tells us in Science and Health that "man's extremity is God's opportunity." This proved to be true, for I was healed by simply reading Science and Health, and the Quarterly lesson daily. The relief was immediate, and the daily desire to be what Christian Science teaches us we can be, is a never-failing comfort.
