Among the Churches

The dedicatory services of First Church of Christ, Scientist, were held Sunday, September 27. A large congregation was present at the exercises, which were highly interesting. Many of those present were members of the denomination from Hattiesburg, New Orleans, and other cities. The dedication of the Laurel Church was of considerable moment from the fact that this is the first Christian Science Church erected in the state of Mississippi.

The members of the Laurel Church may well take a pride in the temple which they have erected, as it is a handsome edifice in every particular.—The Laurel Chronicle.
