We heard of Christian Science for the first time a few years ago. At that time my father was very ill with heart trouble, and the doctor considered his case serious. He turned to Christian Science, and with the help of a practitioner he was completely healed.

Then I took up Christian Science. I had suffered from pains in my back since my twentieth year, and for a few years the pain was so intense that I could hardly walk upright. Finally, I was taken from my place of work to the hospital. The X-ray picture showed injured vertebrae, and it became impossible for me to move at all. The doctor said I would never be able to walk properly and that I must never lift anything heavy.

I then decided to rely solely on Christian Science for my healing, and I read a great deal in the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy. Improvement began at once, and soon I was removed from the hospital. From that time on, my recovery was rapid. One day I suddenly realized that all symptoms of the trouble had vanished. Since then I have been well. I walk for hours, and I can move and work unrestrictedly. For this healing, I thank God.
