CHARITY
I Corinthians 13
The
way was steep and night seemed long,
But charity rejoiced,
In darkness raised Love's triumph song.
Through clouds the truth she voiced.
Though some thought wrongly of a friend,
Still charity maintained
Her perfect likeness, without end,
To God; the truth explained.
Some praised her for the healing, cried,
"What great things you have done!"
"Praise God," then charity replied,
"He is the perfect One."
