Christian Science has been the way of life to me for over thirty years, and I feel that without it life would not be worth living. This Science was presented to me when I was young and confused by the frustrations that mortal existence brings. Christian Science gave me courage to face the business world and to learn to support myself. The Bible tells us (I Cor. 10:31), "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God."

And Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy states (pp. 520, 521): "Spirit acts through the Science of Mind, never causing man to till the ground, but making him superior to the soil. Knowledge of this lifts man above the sod, above earth and its environments, to conscious spiritual harmony and eternal being."

With these explanations of the actual law governing man, I was confident that I could serve God, and in pleasing Him, I had no reason to fear that I would not please my employer. This understanding so improved my ability as a secretary that I was employed in a rewarding position. Moreover, my home relations improved, and later I married a fine man who has made a happy home for us—our two sons and my mother.
