LOVE, THE FRIEND OF MAN
"A Man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother," we read in the book of Proverbs (18:24).
Enjoyment of right companionship is one of the many blessings with which Christian Science has enriched the lives of numerous men and women. Rejecting a material sense which presents man as a lonely, friendless mortal, this Science reveals the unbroken unity which exists between divine Love and its spiritual creation.
A scientific understanding of God, divine Love, as the unfailing, ever-reliable friend of man brings needed peace and assurance to the bereaved heart yearning for right companionship. It promotes an increased awareness of spiritual completeness, which, in turn, manifests itself outwardly in harmonious and enduring friendships.
