"LET NO MAN DESPISE THY YOUTH"

Although many advances have been made in the world recently in eliminating the false restrictions and beliefs of old age, few such steps have been taken in the case of younger persons. The limitations which the world would impose on the young are often much greater than those placed on the old.

Mortal mind often presents the arguments that because of lack of experience, lack of years of service, lack of education acquired only by years of study, or lack of influential connections developed over the years, the young person is unable to be effective in his business, church, home, or community.

The Christian Scientist should vigorously deny these fallacious arguments. In the perfect realm of God's creating, there are no limitations set by time. Insight into the ever-present now may be found in the Glossary of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy in the first part of her definition of "day" on page 584, which reads, "The irradiance of Life; light, the spiritual idea of Truth and Love."
