"A spiritual idea has not a single element of error, and this truth removes properly whatever is offensive." This statement from page 463 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy has helped me to know that whatever would stand in the way of our progress can be removed and that the right unfoldment will appear.

Numerous healings have been experienced by my family and me. Among the conditions healed were those of cystitis, headaches, influenza, appendicitis, and sore throat, which was a constant source of trouble, but which has never returned.

I would like to relate one particular healing that I had several years ago. While canning peaches, I was moving the boiler to the side of the stove so I could remove the jars. In doing this, I spilled the boiling water over both arms. My husband came to me immediately to be of assistance, but I asked him to leave me alone with my textbooks, the Bible and Science and Health. I opened Science and Health, and my eyes fell on these words on page 368: "Deny the existence of matter, and you can destroy the belief in material conditions." I had an instantaneous healing. Five minutes later my arms showed no signs of any mishap. This healing has always stood as a beacon to me, for it proved that the truth is here and available right now.
