A PRACTICAL RELIGION

When Mary Baker Eddy discovered and gave to the world the laws and rules of Truth, she met with great opposition—even persecution—from religious and scientific schools of thought. Yet she was able to establish the Clause of Christian Science as a world-wide movement.

Christian Science is the Science of right thinking and acting, which brings into human view God's goodness. It is the law of divine Mind, which establishes and maintains man's status as God's perfect idea, possessing through reflection the loving, intelligent, and pure qualities of Mind. This is the real, spiritual man described in the first chapter of Genesis, the man who is unchanged by the mist, or state of mystification, in which manhood seems to be divided into corporeal personalities, each with a mind of his own.

In truth, man expresses health and joy and experiences the ceaseless unfoldment of ageless, deathless being. His supply is unlimited, his opportunity unrestricted. He is never in conflict with any other individuality.
