Christian Science found me at a time when my health was broken and my life was at a standstill. Medical doctors had told me that I had anemia, diabetes, arthritis, and hypertension and that I had inherited tendencies to these from one of my parents. After months of medical care, which depleted all our savings and brought no improvement in health, I realized that materia medica could not help me.

As a child I had attended a Christian Science Sunday School and had had several healings. Now I began attending services at a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, where our daughters were enrolled in the Sunday School. At the same time I began the study of the weekly Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly. One Sunday as I sat in church this angel message came to my thought: "God is my only parent." I was healed at that time. The doctors who had previously examined me made tests and found that the conditions mentioned above no longer existed.

At this time I turned entirely to Christian Science. Later I became a member of The Mother Church and a branch church. For seven years I have been living a very active and useful life.
