"The Bible contains the recipe for all healing." So writes Mrs. Eddy on page 406 of Science and Health. I wish to express my gratitude to God for Christian Science and for many healings I have had through the study of it over the years. One experience, which took weeks of earnest study to bring about the healing, was especially helpful. The passing of a relative and a change in my home life had brought my thinking into confusion, and I found myself manifesting many of the same symptoms the relative had had. After losing much weight, I felt a great sense of fatigue and had no will to live. I desired only to sleep.

Finally I called a Christian Science practitioner, who awakened my thought to realize that I was doing just what mortal mind wanted me to do: to sleep, to dream, and forget that the real man made in God's image is not a weak, material thing but a spiritually mental idea, active and free from pain and disorder. I am grateful to have had the privilege of sharing the inspiration so lovingly given by the practitioner. Soon I was able to be about my Father's business in the home and in the church. Human will was forgotten in my praying to be obedient to God's will, as we are taught in Christian Science, and in realizing and using the wonderful truths given to us by Mrs. Eddy in her writings.

I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church, for class instruction, and for our literature, which strengthens us in every need. With prayer and thanksgiving to God we prove that nothing can keep us from our rightful activity and that discomforts are only erroneous conditions of thought, for which divine Truth is the remedy.—(Mrs.) Florence Richter Willits, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
