I would like to express my gratitude for all that Christian Science has meant to me.

Appendicitis was instantaneously healed through the recognition that spiritual man is the complete and perfect expression of God, now and forever. This healing occurred when I was living at home with my parents a number of years ago. I had suffered a great deal of discomfort in my abdomen, and finally when a physical examination was required in connection with employment, I was told that my appendix was apparently inflamed and should be removed.

Sometime later I awoke in the middle of the night in great pain and was unable to call out to other members of my family for help. I finally managed to roll out of bed onto the floor and crawled into my parents' room, where I awakened them by pulling at the bedcovers. My father immediately began declaring man's oneness, or unity, with God, and that this precludes the possibility of an attack of any kind. At this point I lost consciousness. When I awoke a little while later, I was back in my own bed and completely free. The appendicitis has never returned.
