SPIRITUAL SELF-CONTROL

Surveys which have been made to discover why a number of young people do not succeed in their first year of employment attribute this lack of success to an inability to work harmoniously with superiors or others.

One morning the writer became interested in a conversation going on behind her in the intown bus. She overheard a gentleman say, "I have made up my mind to discharge my secretary."

His companion answered with surprise: "Why, I thought you considered her the best secretary you had ever had! I remember you said she made no mistakes, and her spelling was perfect."
