"Today's Challenge to the Christian Scientist"

Branches of The Mother Church in many countries are presenting the Tuesday evening meeting, "Today's Challenge to the Christian Scientist," before their members by means of tape recording. This is the meeting which was held in The Mother Church the day after its Annual Meeting last June. Reports from the meetings at which the recording is being played tell of wider participation than ever before and of resulting progress and healing.

A Christian Science Society in New Mexico in commenting upon its presentation of this meeting writes: "It is truly an uplifting experience for each of us to realize more clearly the part that the churches and societies have in relation to The Mother Church. Indeed, we gained greatly, both individually and as a society. It is wonderful to see the increasing activity of this society, not only in support of this meeting but in so many other ways."

From Brussels, Belgium, the church writes: "It was with great joy and gratitude that almost the entire membership of our church listened either to the tape recording or to the reading of the French translation. Those who know only a little English and heard the tape recording said how well they had understood all the talks because of the very good pronunciation and the well-timed rate of speaking. Much dignity for our Cause and the deepening of its mission in the world were its principal aspects. These Tuesday evening talks are becoming more and more appreciated by our membership. Year after year we have noticed increased attendance, and we are sure that the fruits are and will continue to be very great."
